Pita jewelry is a 1 woman business (as of now) specializing in jewelry that invokes inspiration and confidence.

Growing up, founder Sophia was nicknamed soph-a-pita, she always thought it was sweet until finding out pita means pain in the ass. Now Sophia seeing being a pain in the ass as a good thing. As long as you are being authentic and sticking to your boundaries, some people are bound to find you a “pain”. Sophia wants her jewelry to be something that reminds you it’s ok to speak up for yourself, it’s ok to take up space, and it’s so important to be living life with out fear.

Pita jewelry was birthed out of covid chaos, while everything was shutting down sophia was locking in on jewelry coincidentally. It quickly became a form of therapy in such a needed time. It was a healthy way to cope and process emotions, also grow confidence with in herself.

She did her first market in 2022 and has been working everyday to learn more technique and skills. She’s apprenticed for jewelry companies, and is now working full time for staghead designs as the head jeweler.

Sophia has dreams to become fully self sufficient from jewelry.
